Ten Top…Interactive Shows to see at VAULT festival



Only two days to go until London’s biggest, boldest, bravest arts and entertainment festival returns to Waterloo!


With eight weeks of theatre and comedy, immersive experiences, cabaret, live performance and late night parties, there is a HUGE variety to choose from, so over the coming weeks, we’ll be breaking the shows down by category and shouting out some of the most anticipated performances to give you a flavour of what’s going on.


Having previously showcased some of the improv shows, we’re now highlighting some of the best Interactive performances; you know, those ones that get the audience really involved 😉

10. The Church of the Sturdy Virgin


The Church of the Sturdy Virgin is an immersive theatrical voyage into death. Our temple stands on unstable spiritual cross-roads; the final rites are yours to choose. For more info, click here.


9. Bring Them Home – An Immersive Game Experience


In this immersive game, an astronaut (one player) floats through space in a broken ship. The world’s space agencies (the remaining players) must co-operate to navigate them safely to Earth. For more info, click here.


8. Greyscale


Explore the minefields of dating in a post #metoo era. Who do we have faith in when one party believes it’s sexual misconduct, and the other, simply a bad date? For more info, click here.


7. Séance


Séance explores the psychology of a group of people who have been bombarded with suggestible material. It is an intense sonic performance for twenty people at a time. For more info, click here.


6. Counting Sheep


Based on Mark and Marichka Marczyks’ real life experiences during the Kiev Uprising, comes a reimagining of the revolutionary, award-winning, immersive theatrical experience, from the directors of Belarus Free Theatre. For more info, click here.

1 couple. 36 questions. A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style story show. ‘A unique mixture of storytelling and comedy. For more info, click here.


4. Pope’s Addiction Clinic


An Alcoholics Anonymous style comedy show where comedians (and audience members) bear the fruit of confession. For more info, click here.
