Secret Sunrise returns to Leake Street Arches

Join hundreds of people for an online dance and meditation experience to give Londoners a motivational morning boost during Lockdown

On Wednesday 20th May, as part of #LeakeStreetLIVE (in your lounge), we're partnering with Secret Sunrise, the global silent guided dance and meditation community, to host a FREE early morning virtual guided dance for provide Londoners with some early morning motivation as we enter week eight of lockdown. Whilst the current climate means the usual events we run have been put on hold, our new online programme ensures we can continue to support creative talent and offer a celebration of urban culture.   

At 8am on Wednesday 20th May, in partnership with Secret Sunrise, we will welcome Londoners to a free motivational guided dance session. Secret Sunrise is a global silent guided dance and meditation community who are on a mission to celebrate life through music, movement and connection. The unique concept was born under African skies and has spread throughout South Africa and rippled out to the rest of the world.

Normally, participants meet in a unique location and are given headsets before accredited facilitators use headphone technology to guide them through a series of mindful practices (including meditation, breathwork, movement and dance) which are accompanied by music of all genres. But the new online format means people can take part anywhere there's wifi to shake out your self-isolation blues and receive a giant dose of happiness before the day ahead.

The session will take place via Zoom and will start at 8am. All you need is a laptop or smartphone and you're welcome to dress up!
