We are delighted to report that this week, Leake Street Arches has been shortlisted for not just one but two property industry awards!
On Monday 12th February, it was announced that LSA had been shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Planning for Heritage and Culture’ for the RTPI Planning Excellence Awards.
Organised by the Royal Town Planning Institute, these are the most established and respected awards in the UK planning industry. Running for over 40 years, they celebrate exceptional examples of planning and the contribution planners make to society. The event is made up of thirteen awards including Planning Consultancy of the Year, Excellence in Plan Making Practice and Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy.
LSA is up against some strong competition, with the Heritage and Culture category including submissions from the Southampton Tall Buildings Study submitted by Boyle + Summers, the Tower Hamlets Conservation Strategy submitted by Chris Blandford Associates and Stanton Moor Principles submitted by Peak District National Park Authority.
The winners will be announced during a ceremony at Milton Court Concert Hall on 24 May 2018.
This came just a few days after the announcement on Friday 9th February that LSA had been shortlisted for ‘The Placemaking Award’ at the 2018 Property Awards.
Run by Property Week, the leading news magazine in the commercial and residential property market, the Property Awards recognise the great and the good of the industry. The ceremony, due to be held on 17th April 2018 at Grosvenor House, will see 20 companies or individuals receive awards including Developer of the Year, Property Deal of the Year and Property Entrepreneur of the Year.
Again, LSA has some strong competition on its hands with other nominees for The Placemaking Award including the Battersea Power Station Development Company by Circus West Village, Paddington Central by British Land, Wembley Park by Quintain and Rushden Lake by The Crown Estate.
