Bank Holiday weekend sees the arrival of Jones & Sons at Draughts Waterloo.
This classical British restaurant and cocktail bar with outposts in Dalston and Angel, has taken over the kitchens at Draughts Waterloo to provide an enhanced food experience to visitors.
Founded by Andy Jones in 2013, Jones & Sons is a place to meet, eat, and drink, with an emphasis on well prepared honest British food of the highest quality & artisan cocktails from around the world. After five successful years owning Jones & Sons Dalston and establishing a loyal following, Jones & Sons Angel opened in June 2018.
Their new Waterloo residency means guests of Draughts will be able to enjoy a wider selection of dishes.
The new menu includes small plates such as Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites and Crispy Squid with Sriracha Mayo for £5, large plates like Sea Bass Ceviche with Avocado and Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Harissa Dressing for £10 as well as a Taco and sides menu. The burger selection includes Pulled Pork with Bourbon Glaze and Soft Shell Crab with Avocado and Paprika Mayo.
Vegetarians and Vegans are well catered for with dishes such as Padron Peppers with smoked Maldon, Cauliflower Za’atar with Crispy Kal and a Chickpea & Sweet Corn burger in a Charcoal Bun.
Nick Curci, co-founder of Draughts said; “Andy (Jones) and I have known each other for almost 5 years, having met in Hackney when Draughts opened its first location. We both share an independent spirit and have a passion for hospitality. I can also say I’m a massive fan of the food they create in their kitchens!”
The new kitchen menu will be served from 12pm to 10pm from Saturday 25th August.
With their famous weekend Bottomless Brunch filling up weeks in advance, and their legendary Roast featured in the Evening Standard’s ‘Top 25 restaurants for Sunday Lunch’, we’re excited to welcome this residency to Leake Street Arches to further develop the weekend scene the arches is becoming known for.
