UPDATE: In light of developments related to the Coronavirus pandemic, LCR have taken the difficult decision to cancel the #LeakeStreetLIVE event programme (starting with the next graffiti workshop and live music session on Thursday 19th March) to ensure the safety of everyone involved in our events.
At this point, we do not know when we will re-instigate the programme as any decision taken will depend on advice given by the Government over the coming weeks.
All current ticket holders will be given priority notice when we go live with the next set of classes.
#LeakeStreetLIVE is a free public events programme bringing you an exciting range of events at Leake Street Arches throughout the year.
Celebrating urban culture through food, drink, paint and play, the #LeakeStreetLIVE programme operates in seasons with new activities added as the year progresses.
The Spring Season focuses on free graffiti workshops accompanied by live music every Thursday night.
Led by Sophy Robson (aka SoFLY) these one hour sessions start with a brief introduction to the world of graffiti. After demonstrating a few techniques, Sophy then invites attendees to leave their own mark on the walls of Leake Street. Running from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, these workshops include overalls and spray paint.
The classes are accompanied by live music (from 5.30pm to 8.30pm) from talented musicians from Busk London’s roster of emerging talent. Busk London is the world’s largest street performance initiative, curating over 12,000 hours of live street music across the Capital each year.
The bars and restaurants at Leake Street Arches, including Draughts, Banh Bao Brothers and Mamuśka! Polish Kitchen and Bar run special offers every Thursday and visitors can enjoy food and drink late into the night.
